Day 3 Assignment

Hi Gachon bloggers!

Your assignment for today is to introduce your 3 favorite parts of the Gachon Global Leaders English Immersion Camp. You can write about your classes, activities, field trips, or guest speakers.

When you write your blog post, you must do the following: Write your blog post in Microsoft Word first to check for and fix any spelling and grammatical errors. The spelling errors will be underlined in red and the grammar errors in green. It is your responsibility to correct as many errors as possible.

Also, when you're writing, please write using an English format. For example:

(X) Bad:
My favorite band is Muse.

They are a rock band from the UK.

They are world famous, and they played a concert in Seoul in January this year.

I like Muse because they make such epic songs.

Even though there are only three band members,

their music is very expansive.

The lead singer also plays the guitar and piano,

and he often sings in falsetto and vibrato.

Muse makes the best music!

Day 2 Assignment

Part 1:

Go to Google Blog Search and search for a blog in English on any topic. Look at how the blog is written (format), the topic, and the amount of comments that it has. Is the blog successful? Why or why not?

Part 2:

You must write a blog post with the goal of generating the most comments! Every student must make a comment on 3 of your classmates' blogs. You must make 3 comments, but you can't make more than 3 comments. The student who generates the most comments wins! Think about how to get the most comments from your classmates! Good luck!

Also, you must start to study the following vocabulary words for your final exam:
blogosphere
web log (blog)

register
niche
anonymous
(blog) comment
(blog) post
permalink
